We successfully designed and implemented an advanced solar energy project for the Intermarché supermarket located in Torre de Moncorvo, within the district of Bragança. This solution represents a strategic step forward in maximizing renewable energy use in the retail sector, as it cleverly integrates photovoltaic panels across two different structures: rooftop installation and specialized carport structures.

The entire photovoltaic system was meticulously engineered to deliver optimal performance and significantly enhance the supermarket's energy independence. A key highlight of this project is its outstanding self-consumption rate, which stands at an impressive 87.39%. This means that nearly nine-tenths of the clean electricity produced by the panels is consumed directly by the supermarket's operations, minimizing reliance on the traditional grid and ensuring maximum economic benefit.
